Winner SMDM Fellowship
We have a winner! Eline Krijkamp, MSc, NIHES alumna and research associate, has been selected for a 3-year SMDM Fellowship in Medical Decision Making by the The Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM). The fellowship supports early career researchers, to develop their potential to influence clinical practice and health policy, and to prepare them to thrive in the field of medical decision making.
Eline received the fellowship for the research she is performing at our Department of Epidemiology. Her research focus is on optimizing study design through the simulation of the new studies evaluating non-pharmaceutical interventions. She is currently applying some simulation methods in the DESTRESS trial. The DESTRESS (DEcrease STress through RESilience training for Students) study is designed to reduce chronic stress and burnout among students. Read more here.
