Wanted: Coaches for EUR’s first International Coach Café
Erasmus University Rotterdam wants to provide its international students with the right tools to kick-start their professional career. In order to achieve this EUR is organising its first International Coach Cafe on Thursday 30 March 30 (19.00 to 22.00 hrs), aiming students who are in their final years of their studies. It helps students to create awareness about what they want and can achieve in their future career. We are looking for enthusiastic EUR alumni who would like to participate as coaches. As a coach you can share your experiences with the ‘next generation’ of international graduates. Moreover it also strengthens your coaching skills and provides you with networking opportunities with other coaches. During three sessions the following questions are being discussed:
(1) Mapping out your talents;
(2) Articulating your dream job;
(3) Outlining the next steps in your career.
Each question is discussed in small group of students, moderated by a coach and accompanied by drinks and snacks. The coach facilitates the discussion, asks challenging questions and helps the students with finding the answers.
Prior to the coach café all coaches are required to participate in a training session, just to become familiar with the concept and learn about the do’s and don’ts. The training session is offered on Wednesday 22 March from 19.00 to 22.15 hrs. Interested? Send your CV (or LinkedIn profile link) and a brief motivation to careerservices@eur.nl, before 15 March. International alumni currently working in the Netherlands are especially encouraged to apply!
